... ja, wo bloss...? ... sooo weit weg...!

where?

tell me where, where do you come from?
tell me where, where do you belong?

tell me where, where did you come from?
tell me where, where did you belong?

tell me where was the light, before the dark was gone?
tell me where, where did you come from?

it was like rain after a dark stormcloud.
it was the healing water upon my aching wounds.
you were the beast drinking from my jar.
you were the beauty sweetness, driving my old car.
you were the pain in the ass and the ease in the sex.
you were the stormcloud that reaches so very far…
so very far…

but it was all drifting away into the darkness of sound.
and i was suddenly confronted with foreign ground.
it was a hallucination coming out like smoke
and i suddenly recognized that same old joke…

it was like rain after a dark stormcloud.
it was the healing water upon my aching wounds.
you were the beast drinking from my jar.
you were the beauty sweetness, driving my old car.
you were the pain in the ass and the ease in the sex.
you were the stormcloud that reaches so very far…
so very far…
