M Y · S T R A N G E R :
Another collaboration with Oli Rihs. He came in the morning with the lyric-idea in
german and we translated it to english.
After that i did the programming on my KORG M1. In the afternoon we recorded it on
my fostex 4-track-tape.
So it's all written and produced in one day.
it's the only song in this collection, and also the last one, to be produced with
the fostex 4-track-tape-recorder.
after that i had 8 tracks...
Written & recorded in one day!!

my stranger
here comes the man with the thousand faces
he goes along the street
which i couldn't meet before.
here comes the man with this mystic rhythm
i want to drink his blood
oh god...
here comes the man, here comes the stanger
with these cold hands
which i wish to kiss warm.
hey what are you doing here?
why are you eclipsing my mind?
hey, nobody loves you more than me
but he's disapearing in the mist
and i ask myself - does he exist?
just his spirit and his body in the dark light
i want to catch him but he's out of sight
he gave me no answer - just a short and tender look
here goes the man, here goes the stranger
with his cold hands
which i want to kiss warm.
hey what are you doing here?
why are you eclipsing my mind?
hey, nobody loves you more than me
hey what are you running away?
what have you done for me?
where is life, love, life, love?
what have i done wrong?
talk to me - talk, talk, talk to me
give me life - give me love - give me life
i want to be here with your red dress on
you can call me a bloody coward
but you still have to be here
you have to be here, here, by my side, here
and bring me peace - bring me peace!
hey what are you doing here?
why are you eclipsing my mind?
hey, nobody loves you more than me
hey what are you doing here?
why are you eclipsing my mind?
hey, nobody loves you more than me
hey what are you doing here?
why are you eclipsing my mind?
hey, nobody loves you more than me
here goes the stanger - i follow my way
